The International Trade team at Essex County Council is dedicated to helping Essex businesses succeed in China and India by providing structured long-term support. In addition to providing advice and organising trade missions, our long-standing relationship with Jiangsu Province in China and the new links we are developing with Hyderabad in India can also be helpful in finding contacts. In China, our Representative Office in Nanjing can provide you with support in following up leads and contacts you may have made but are finding difficult to develop.
Here is a list of the type of export services we provide :
- we help you assess your businesses 'readiness' to enter the Chinese and Indian markets
- we help you explore the potential for your products/services through 1-1 online webinars with in-country market experts through our office in China and through the British High Commission offices in India
- we point you to other sources of support including access to grants
- we assist with travel planning in China and India
- we connect businesses with relevant service providers
